Very interesting video. I was actually leaning towards orthopedic surgery after doing my clinical internships. The doctor I shadowed was only about 45, so he never mentioned any concerns about not being able to do it at older ages. However, I still found it to be the most interesting internship.
I have a sister that’s doing her OB/GYN residency, and you’re dead on about it taking a toll on the doctor.Though she’ll eventually be doing urogynecology after her fellowship.
