Why don’t you hear anything about national health-care on the news reports that americans listen to?
By Editor
Question: The united states is the only high tech nation left in the world without national health-care and the people do not seem to be concerned. They watch news shows that talk about what movie stars are doing and ignore what is going on in their community. For a difference watch the BBC channel.

What are you talking about?
1) We don’t have national health care. It has been the subject of a lot of debate recently. I think it’s displayed on many news shows and is certainly part of the new presidential race.
2) Most people don’t have BBC.
3) I’m sure the BBC is fine, but it’s not an American channel and wouldn’t talk about what’s going on in America.
4) Most news stories are not about celebrities.

I always hear how wonderful socialized medicine is. And I also hear about the rationing, the long waits, etc. I’m not crazy about the idea, except for the fact that the system we have now has become so horrible. Insurance company executives making hundreds of millions of dollars per year, while they don’t want to pay for anything, and they keep raising the premiums.
I’ve accepted the fact the socialized medical care is inevitable. I just pray that Hillary is not involved in the process.
