Why does Health Care reform need to happen all in ONE bill?

By Editor

Question: Wouldn’t it make more sense to address the problems one at a time, actually fix things, pass the bill and move on to the next problem? I realize that you can’t shove pork into a massive bill, but isn’t what this is all SUPPOSED to be about is fixing health care for everyone?

No. We need to rebuild and not simply piece-meal patch

Not a bad suggestion…. However once we got congress committing to actually do something, why not push all at once?

No then they wouldn’t be able to slip in all this stuff that no one has time to read. Stuff like letting the elderly die, yes, that’s in there.

your right, but common sense has been removed from politics decades ago, and replaced with self-serving righteousness. right now, at least in my opinion, the Dems are using Obama’s political and public capital to rush stuff through. AFTER it’s passed, then they can work out the details (sad part is, instead of balancing things out in the end, it’ll be a complete mess and will waste a lot of time and money. we’ll be negotiating “how much we’ll be paying” instead of “what should we be paying” as tax payers.) My Dad calls it “consumer conditioning”. RAPE the consumer, and they’ll be happy when it settles down to a SCREWING.
