Why do they make medicine where you need a medication for the symptoms of a medicine?

Question: Hopefully that isn’t too confusing…I noticed that those people that are in the hospitals…they have to take a medicine say for example they have a headache and they take a medicine, but they get a reaction to the medicine….so they have to take another one to fix that medication result….that type of thing. Is it really worth taking medicine if you will just have to take a bunch as a result or symptom of one of those pills or syrups; types of medications ???

Because the pharmaceutical companies are evil. That’s why they don’t make cures for things, instead they make drugs to mask symptoms. It’s in their interest to have everyone on pills. So, I guess the answer to your question is “greed”.
