Have you tried disposable contacts like J&J 1 day Acuvue Moist?
My eye doctor told me I have very dry eyes as well and that I should stay away from reusable contacts and only use daily disposable ones. And I find that my eyes are less dry and irritable now.
And if all else fails, start blinking more! Because I quote “Blinking provides moisture to the eye by irrigation using tears and a lubricant the eyes secrete” (courtesy of wikipedia

If you have tried multiple lenses, then likely the doctors are right, your eyes and tears are not suitable for contacts. Sorry.
Its not that the doctors aren’t interested or don’t care; they can’t provide a cure if the cure doesn’t exist.
