By
Question: My main concern is fixing my ankle and I know I need to see a Podiatrist
I have SUPINATION in the left ankle and I am trying to fix it. I am also a student and I dont want to pay alot of money. Should I just pay around

Health insurance will cost at least $200 a month, and won’t cover stuff already wrong.
Although you’re being financially shortsighted by not having health insurance (what happens if you need surgery for a burst appendix next month?), for THIS particular situation, paying out of pocket is the ONLY option.

You need health insurance regardless. If you don’t have any now and your school offers a group plan, get it.

try looking for insurance that has PPO coverage try not to go with HMO there are more rules to that insurance and more higher co pays and deductibles. Another thing is that if you already went to a doctor and you have already been DIAGNOSED with supination by a physician then chances are that NO insurance is going to cover you right away. It is called PRE-EXISTING CONDITION but look into how long that clause ends after getting insurance. Some ins. comp. cover pre existing conditions if you have gone without treatment for the illness or injury within 6-12 months this even includes a simple cold. Hope this information helps. You should just get insurance before anything else happens.
