He should be fine. It’s not on the level of alcohol (which should be drunk in moderation AFTER a feeding). Babies only get 2% of any meds through our milk anyhow.
For the future, you can try more natural methods of easing your symptoms. Try herbal teas, steam treatments, and take lots of Vitamin C. Echinacea and garlic also help.

** I googled it and all the ingredients are fine to take while nursing. They HAVE to put warnings on it for liability reasons….

One tablet shouldn’t be too harmful though I’m not sure on that I would at the very least express and discard the next feed (provided that you have some stored milk or formula to supplement with). To be safe though it might be worth just giving a dr or pharmacist a call and getting professional advice. If you express one feed it varies but if you express each side for about 10mins (through at least one let down) that should be enough, I would imagine you’d get around 50ml from each side, but don’t worry if it’s less or more than this. I certainly wouldn’t express for much longer than that though

Well, from what i can tell, there is no pseudophed in this medication. Actually, there isn’t any medication in this medication. It’s basically a multivitamin. If the box says there is pseudophed in it, Wait to breast feed at least one day.If not, you have nothing to worry about. Please ignore the first post COMPLETELY because there isn’t a 2% chance of transferring the medication to your child.. if you eat it or drink it, so does the child. These mistakes happen, but ask your pharmacist before you take any medication or supplement.
