What is the cheapest laser eye surgery can cost, including service in other countries?
By Editor
Question: I have astigmatism but I find contacts and glasses a frustrating money sink. My vision is about 20/160, but I never wear corrective lenses. I am looking forward to laser surgery, but as a college student I have less than $2000 to work with. I understand surgery can be up to $5000 in the USA, but I’ve heard of prices as low as $1400 abroad. Does anyone have any cheap success stories?

there was a place in new york that was advertising to do it for $500 per eye – however i implore you not to contract work on your eyes out to the lowest bidder. you only get one set and more often than not you get what you pay for. Keep saving – the price will overall keep dropping.

YOU DONT WANT CHEAP. You want the best. I had to pay 6000 but the also prepaid tons of check up visits post surgery. 1,000 went to my personal eye doctor for the check ups.
TLC laser eye center is a great place to go. They are all over the US. You want custom bladeless lasiks. Bladeless is newer and safer. Only a few places even do bladeless.

Laser eye surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her dental implants and lasik surgery in India by a company called Forerunners Healthcare. The Price for dental and lasik surgery is very less in India. She paid 25% of the price she was quoted in America.
Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India They arrange Dental surgery, jaw surgery, lasik eye surgery, Dental Implants etc for foreign patients in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and magazines- about their patient stories.
They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low cost, as dental and eye surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
