Obama’s healthcare plan is better long term and that’s both it’s strength and weakness. It will not be a quick fix
McCain’s healthcare plan is based on the free market. It uses competition to improve things. This plan seems to be simple but it ultimately relies on the notion that the youngest, healthiest, and wealthiest will want healthcare

I don’t want my health-care taxed like it’s income (McCain) and I sure as hell shouldn’t have to compete for a decent health-care plan (McCain).
I find nothing wrong with Obama’s plan:
KEEP YOUR EMPLOYER IF YOU ALL READY HAVE HEALTH-CARE, he’ll work with insurance companies to lower the cost.
He’ll work with small businesses, he’s going to give them a 50% tax credit to offset double taxation and to help with the coverage of health-care.
If neither of these things pan out, you will be subsidized by the gov’t to pay into a system that is similar to the plan that CONGRESSIONAL MEMBERS GET= McCain and Obama. YOU PICK YOUR OWN MEDICAL DOCTOR.
WTH is wrong with this plan? It isn’t GOVT RUN.

McCain’s plan is better for now because our country is in a recession.
Obama’s plan is better for the long term (a plan I like) but we should be thinking about short term fixes right now.
In the the next four years I would vote for Obama’s health care plan.

McCain: will cover a lot more people with the tax break but could leave out some individuals with pre-existing conditions. Would partly lifting the yoke of providing health insurance for employees help growth of businesses and jobs?
Obama: will not allow anyone to be excluded from coverage. Will this just drive costs up as the people with pre-existing conditions enter the pool and healthy people drop out? Wouldn’t continuing to put the burden of providing health insurance for employees be bad for businesses and job growth?
