Took the wrong amount of blood pressure medicine!?
By
Question: I’ve been taking 50mg metropolol and 20mg lisinopril for several months and accidentally took two 20mg tablets of lisinopril and NO metropolol! Could this cause a lower than normal blood pressure or some kind of reaction?

Call your doctors office, or the urgent care office.
I overdosed once my doctor told me to skip a dosage but I am only on a 10mg dose so it might be different for you.
Get a pill dispenser with the days on it that way you will remember what you took on what day.

Call poison control or your doctor. They/he would know better than anyone else.

You might experience a little bit of light headedness. Lisinopril 40 mg is a very common dose for patients. It shouldn’t cause too much a problem If you want to be ultra safe you could stop by the urgent care center

I doubt it will hurt anything but I would call the pharmacist or my Dr just to be sure. Either person should be able to tell you if that will cause a problem.

I don’t think so. I use to be in 4 BP medications and it happened to me to take the wrong dosage. Relax you will be fine. I am now off medication after switching into a Fruitarian diet. Try to eat more Fruits and you will get ride of those medication who are nothing else than poison for your body. Good luck.
