I AM STILL SO CONFUSED, WHAT IS THE STRAIGHT UP PLAN? WHAT ARE THE DETAILS? WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW? I’m soooo confused
He’s only saying the good things, why can’t he tell me what it is that we would have to sacrifice to get something better? Then I would be better informed and would be able to make a better decision. UGH. WHITE HOUSE KNOWS THAT AMERICA IS STUPID WHY CAN’T THEY JUST LAY THINGS OUT ON THE TABLE LIKE GOOD PEOPLE

As will white america in the next 2 major elections. We will use our right to vote to change obama. Send him back to chicago. Obama has made it clear he will always take a blacks side in any dispute. This will come up in the prez election.
As for govt heath care. Its dead. Deal with it.

When presenting your social whether its in order to get a new job or open a cd at a bank you r require to show id along with your social, but digress. If that your issue then you should critique how vulnerable this system is to fraud, do not state that the plan include coverage for illegal cause it does not,

Number 2: Insurance companies don’t drop your coverage if you fail to report that you had acne
3: There are limits in place for a reason. But this is going too far.
4: This isn’t ‘manslaughter’. Name one time you or someone that you know has had their coverage dropped. THERE ARE 3 OR 4 CASES OF IT AND IT IS BLOWN OUT OF PROPORTION.

i an a conservative and this is a major issue. simply providing a social is not enough. the social needs to be verified along with a govt issued ID with photo. the liberals dont support that, so simply saying illegal will not be covered is not enough if you dont actually check the info.
either way, you guys dont have the votes. the sooner you realize it the better. there will be no govt health care. if you want it, go to canada or england, but dont come back to US.

this plan requires you to have a social security # and there are plenty of member of this society who aren’t either citizens nor illegals they are called permanent resident. These permanent resident are here legally have social security and are tax just the same as citizens. yes it will cover people who aren’t citizens but it won’t cover illegals since illegals don’t have a social security # get your facts straight sir, stop your falling for republican scare tactics there agenda is big business

Why does my government want to be in the insurance industry? Allow open competition between the existing companies. This reform bill will drive private insurance costs through the roof! Within 15 years the public option will be the only option. You mentioned this time frame yourself Mr. President. Please dont tell me how many people are dying everyday, or how expensive healthcare costs are. Many more people die everyday because of bad choices than do because of the lack of healthcare. Stay away!

honestly, if this doesn’t go through, it’s going to be bad for people who doesn’t have health care, because if his health care reform doesn’t go through, indapendant companies have control over the coverage. What’s worse is that they are trying to get a bill passed that states that if you don’t have health care, you will be fined somewhere between 5,000-15,000 dollar’s. So why is it bad for his health care to pass?

Does USPS keep UPS and Fedex accountable? USPS is bankrupt and should be forced to find way to stay in business without govt bailout. UPS and Fedex should play the the same rules. If you cant survive without govt help, then you dont deserve to survive in the USA.
I dont want my tax dollars covering illegals (yes this plan does cover them since you are not required to prove citizenship)

Not always true-my grandfather smoked, drank like a fish, and ate mostly fried, fatty foods and lived to be 98 without ever having any health issues.

It isn’t real reform without a robust Public Option. It’s the cost containment mechanism that is central to curing a terrible system which is literally killing us.
With the Public Option, Insurance companies will have actual competition, and the consumers (us) will have good choices.
Competition makes serious players better, and is the cornerstone of our system.

Make the difference Mr. President Obama for your land, even there are so many difficult things, you can make this, be sure, this is a phares that said to me my children time ago, when i was in crucial times, you can make it, think only this, if you belife or not, this was a big help in crucial times….so i am sure you can make the “big step” in health care reform in your, land…

So basically you are saying since you are skinny and athletic you deserve a lower rate cause you are athletic? You do know many people die from heart attacks who are the most fit people in the world.
Nobody is an exeption from heart disease,cancer etc. My mother took care of herself and died at 51 from heart disease, my father just passed from cancer. It’s also about your family tree, not just how you care for yourself.
Yes, taking care of yourself helps a lot. But there are always factors

cybhunter007 Your comment seriously ludicrous. Not all people who are overweight is because of their eating habits. Have you ever heard of genetic genes? I have been overweight my whole life. I have a thyroid problem which causes me to gain weight.
I don’t sit around and eat cookies,candy, any type of junk food. I eat right, I exercise at a gym and I still can’t lose a lot of weight. So before making comments like that, maybe you should not clump all in one catagory.
