Should taking Micardis for high blood pressure and Wellbutrin for anxiety have negative drug interactions?
By
Question: My doctor has prescribed Micardis for high blood pressure and Wellbutrin for anxiety. I have been taking it together for 3 weeks now and am having some negative side effects. Excessive sweating, trouble sleeping, tiredness, headache and lowered sex drive are some of my symptoms. Would these side effects be more related to the Wellbutrin or the Micardis? or the combination of the two? Does anyone know of a good blood pressure medicine that does not make you tired or effect one’s sex drive for a 36 year old male?

both drugs can cause side effects… the micardis generally cause dizziness and headaches and faintness it occurs if the body supply of water has been depleted by diuretics( water pill) however the wellbbutrin can also cause insomina and dizziness and also lowered sex drive.
