I believe that the government is NOT trying to take control over U.S. Citizens. Everyone is in need of healthcare and Obama just wants to make sure everyone receives it. I am on Obama’s side and believe that this is one of the “changes” that he has promised us. We shouldn’t doubt him just yet. Let’s wait and see if this change would change the America. Besides, it’s time for change because as we can see, Bush never promised us anything. I say give Obama a chance. What do we have to lose?

To all the so called conservatives, just a thought to ponder about Rush, Hannity, or Beck. These individuals that you admire so much what have they done to help our country out. They have done nothing except bitch and complain about what the liberals are doing and what they are not doing and made a career out of it. If our country fails its because we let jerks like this manipulate us all into hating each other. Finacially they are doing fine while the rest of us lose everything.

The real shame is that the world is full of people like you…
who simply walk through life with their head firmly inserted up their ass, judging people who disagree with them without EVER understanding a single fact.
Racist? The real racists are sick evil bigots like you who CHEAPEN all of humanity and breed hatred and discord by irresponsibly throwing around the charge of racism.
Rush is about as ANTI racism as a person can be.
You want to see a racist? LOOK IN THE MIRROR.

listen, If I was black and I hated Goerge bush, does that make me racist?

I never Knew this man is actually a moron!
who just opens his mouth with no solid point to prove right or wrong, it is so obviouse that he is just plain jelouse and recist. it is a shame as ppl like him get older not to let their heart or moral lead them as if they r on earth for the rest of their life.

i would buy that, but all i ever hear him do is liberal bash. like conservatives are beyond corruption. please, corruption is an equal opportunity employer! LOL!!
i would be lying if i told you me and rush never agreed on some points. we have. however, for me not only is his arrogance too hard to stomach but we both tend to draw different conclusions from the facts. i view him as he should be. a talk show host. nothing more. nothing less. he is not a savior anymore than obama is.

Rush targets the most corrupt, if Obama stopped being so radical he might have time during his show to focus on them. If you are curious, try calling him on open line friday, I got through once so you probably could too. We got there by mixing personal lives into a debate, I think we had a productive fun debate though.

actually, one of the issues of the fire WAS failure of govt. look into it. it’s pretty interesting to see failure on SO many levels.
not familiar with the names you threw out there but will look into them. how did we get from worker safety to waterboarding LOL? if a terrorist had one of MY family captive, i would want to NUKE somebody, but that may not be the best response. it would cause global ramifications and lead to innocent loss of life.

i actually agree government should be kept small. a big reason why it isn’t is because of people that want to cheat the system. OSHA regs are HUGE. many of these could have been avoided if companies would have taken it upon themselves to create safe working environments. perhaps if rush would send a message of personal responsibility to the “elite” rather than spending hours telling us they are well intentioned and beyond reproach, he would have more creedence with me.
November 3rd, 2009 at 8:57 am
Just like if a terrorist had one of your family members captive you’d probably support pouring water over their faces to get them to tell you where your family member is right?

Budget issues because someone attacked the rich so they got less revenue.. his name, Barry Sorreintaro. Or we can look at who caused this recession Barney Frank. If it was built in the 1900’s it should have regular inspections like all buildings do. I’m not saying the government is not to be used, i’m saying I want it kept small. But its more than likely because of a corrupt local government this happened. Not all rich people are right wing, George Soro’s ring a bell?

in 1991, the governments role was minimal in this case and because of that and a greedy corp exec, 25 people lost their lives. my point? sometimes government HAS to intervene because of greedy individuals who have only regard for their profit. fire exits are NOT a privlege that has to be earned. BTW, the owner of the company only served 4 years on a 20 sentence. justice? i think not! if one of limbaugh’s family had died in that fire, he would have a different opinion.
November 3rd, 2009 at 10:28 am
uh, “maybe the fire inspector”? well, because of budget issues there was not enough inspectors in nc at the time. the original building was built in the early 1900’s and was not required (at that time) to have a sprinkler system. you haven’t even addressed the other issues of this tragedy. you obviously (like rush himself) have not looked into the issue and are only concerned with comments that create the illusion that you know what you are talking about.
November 3rd, 2009 at 10:29 am
It’s the building inspectors job… that is the simple truth. Maybe a fire inspector too. You asked a simple question, that is the simple answer. The governments role should be minimal and to serve the people… right now we have a government that is trying to ignore the peoples voice and that isn’t something you should support.

oh, sorry about the error, it’s kind of like the error on your part by calling me a liberal (which i’m not). i’m worse in rush’s eyes. i’m a moderate. instead of splitting hairs over the definitions of opinion and fact (yawn), i would lke to move on. is that comment on the imperial foods fire the best you can do? what about the chained fire exits? what about the employees afraid to speak out about safety hazards for fear of losing their jobs? try again, BoyKagome.
November 3rd, 2009 at 11:13 am
Owch, lol. Well you’re better then the average lib but your really not much of a challenge to me. I never said 99% I said 91,1%. Now in order for someone to lie they have to willfully know they are wrong and then spout out information. There for it could never be a opinion, do I need to quote websters definition of a opinion for you to get that or can we move on? Rush would of said his building wouldn’t be approved to be open without a sprinkler system which is the job of a building inspector.
November 3rd, 2009 at 11:26 am
18 years ago this past week, 25 people died in the imperial foods fire in hamlet, nc. the owner had chained the fire exits and didn’t have a sprinkler system. it was only until the FEDS threatened to intervene that important worker safety and “whistleblowing” laws were passed. now, in limbaugh’s society, private industry should not have government involved with their affairs. the question: read about the tragedy and tell what limbaugh would have done.
November 3rd, 2009 at 11:54 am
no, bro, YOU said a poll said he was right 99% of the time. right=truth. if his show is his opinionated comment then it is not truth. and your’re wrong, opinions CAN be lies. and whatever, that quote was strange at best. BoyKagome, you are clearly quite the watercarrier for the fat prick. i’m sorry you’ve chosen to pollute your mind with his mindless, hateful, elitist rhetoric. but, i will give you another chance to say something profound. hopefully, it won’t be more limbaugh boilerplate.
November 3rd, 2009 at 12:18 pm
It’s a quote bro, if your secure with yourself you shouldn’t have a problem with it… you called him a lair and opinions can’t be lies… this is not about how much weight they hold, this is about you being wrong that hes a liar.
November 3rd, 2009 at 1:13 pm
ok, the “every glorius square in of my naked body” quote is pretty sick. but if that’s your thing, hey….LOL. seriously, working hard and earning what you have has nothing to do with consumer or employee protection. in fact, without them you would lose what you’ve EARNED. rush is a mouthpiece for the elite. period. also, opinion is not fact and doesn’t carry the same weight as fact (unless you are a dittohead).
November 3rd, 2009 at 1:15 pm
He doesn’t, he speaks about everyone having equal opportunity through hard work without special privileges. With Rush everything has to be earned and that’s the way a country gets stronger; history says the same story. But no these are Rush’s opinions and then this poling place watches to see if his opinion turns out to be right. That’s what Rush means when he says “I know these people like every glorious square inch of my naked body.” Besides by definition a opinion cant be a lie.
November 3rd, 2009 at 1:20 pm
follow it on fox news? all that poll can determine is peoples OPINION of rush not whether he actually tells the truth or not. any fanatic has to spinkle his doctrine with just enough “truth” to deem himself credible. regardless, here he says “why doesn’t the federal government just pay to insure these people?” within a minute of saying there aren’t enough doctors to handle the uninsured. name one thing rush has ever spoke of that’s IN FAVOR of consumer rights or employee rights?
November 3rd, 2009 at 2:08 pm
and Obama is the champion of un-Americanism. I’ll follow disinformation before a anti-Americanism any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Besides, Rush has a Sacramento opinion auditing pole that shows him right 91.1% of the time… how does Obama fair in opinion poles for accuracy?
