One thing I will say is that gov run health works. I live in Switzerland which has one of the most expensive complusary private health in the world ( I pay 700Chf a month for a family of 3) and I lived in Australia which has gov health insurance. To say the truth I have not experienced any difference. In Australia if I wanted to see a doc then I would see one the same day no problems! Guys the transition will hard but it will be for the better!

Sorry guys that was a stupid thing to say! I have no idea what life is like there as all I see is what is on the news which is all quite negative.

It’ll hopefully get better! But if you’re going to come here, either go to California or don’t come at all.

All I can say that I am so happy that I was not born in America – nice place for a visit though but as to living there? The country is rotting internally.

The closed door meetings on the Hill regarding health care illustrate the lack of transparency which we were promised.
Americans who support paying higher taxes for government-run healthcare forget the efficiency of already-existing government agencies/efforts: the Post Office, your local DMV, Katrina relief, even the existing Medicare system illustrate how efficient such programs are. I’m sure this massive program won’t have any of that, just as our government is transparent as promised!

obama went to guatama mexico two months ago and said my plate is full this year, i’m fighting for health care reform, but he promised them next year immigration reform would come, and in 2011 health care reform would be enacted, and oct 1 obama sent 800+ border patrol agents from the mexican border to the canadian border

“Polls Show That People Agree w/ Obama’s Health Care Plan”
So, your show itself proves that you are a liar.

The mistake with your statement I feel is simply this: We’re already paying for others in many ways. One of the most common is people in ER’s across this country that can’t be turned away because they have no benefits. Also, you pay for others if you’re in a group insurance plan say at a job. You’re paying for that overweight smoker. The problem with this country has been happening. At least this administration is addressing it truly this time compared to other administrations.

Only polled 100 people, not that reliable IMO, especially because it’s over the phone. Still thinking it’s a rather disurbing thing, but don’t overvalue it.
February 2nd, 2010 at 1:29 pm
That would mean that some of those conservatives voted for Obama. No thats bull crap. Most people in this country is middle of the road. I would say only 28% of this country is conservative.
February 2nd, 2010 at 1:43 pm
OBAMA ROCKS…..
February 2nd, 2010 at 2:16 pm
You also need to take into consideration that a percentage of Americans have no political affiliation at all. Some of us are independent thinkers that don’t believe all the conservative fabrications that are out there too. I can agree with some republican values; however, I don’t want people’s stupid religious beliefs & outlandish lies mixed w/ a bunch of oppressive “isms” crammed down my throat. Some of us are tired of it all. Is it hard to believe that people across the board agree on this?
