Normal, responsible adults pay for their debts. It took Clinton 8 long yrs to pay off the huge debt incurred by the 12 years of Reagan-Bush. Eight years of conservative, fiscal policy, and opposing Republican efforts to borrow more and spend. Even had Gore cast a tie-breaking vote in the Senate to keep on the right path. Then came George W. FU Bush. Who BORROWED-AND-SPENT more than $10,000 billion dollars in 8 yrs. (That’s $10+ trillion). And he gave Obama what? Chaos and calamity! GOP=evil.

dijhili doesn’t mention that the Republicans, under Mr. Deregulate Phil Gramm, repealed Glass-Steagall and inserted Gramm-Leach-Bliley which married banks to investment houses and DESTROYING OUR BANKING and LENDING in 2008. The GOP did more damage to more seniors than Palin could do if she dropped bombs from her helicopter in Alaska. Millions lost their savings when the GOP trashed regulation. What’s more, they did zero in 8 yrs on any health care reform. They NEVER cared about seniors. Get it?!

You seem like a nice enough person. The role of government is NOT to enrich the select few be they ‘RICH’ or ‘poor’. If there be some miscarriage of justice then it should be corrected. Correction does not mean to carry any perversion to the other extreme. I do not subscribe to your belief that somehow only the ‘rich’ benefit most. This somehow smacks of class warfare. The classes can never be equal as men are not equal.
