Personally I think we need to do something about the poor health care in this country but I am currently serving in the military and have put my life on the line numerous times for the freedom we truly deserve and I don’t think its fair for me to have to now put the little money that I get back into now sacrificing so someone else can have health coverage the problem is with the rich insurance companies lining their pockets make them pay not me!!!!

I’m a normal guy too but I can’t get health care because I haven’t paid hundreds for health care a year. I want to understand what is so bad about making sure everyone can see a doctor. I don’t know what is the point when is the right time to make sure everyone is healthy. Many americans can’t go to see a doctor cause they won’t see them. People go to canada to buy medicine illegally and this is not a problem? I just want to understand why this is being fought against so fervently.
Plus, when you really boil down to it, are you happy with the fact that the US is ranked 1st in the world in health care costs, and 38th for quality of care, while some nations boast of statistics that the complete opposite of that?

No one was tossed in the street. Every single person was treated. If you have good insurance the hospital makes more off you when you get sick cause they get paid.. If you are poor, you get treated and the hospital writes it off as bad debt if you cant pay. And no one gets bonuses depending on pt. numbers

If they couldnt pay the bill, the hospital takes a hit, its called bad debt… We have the best health care system in the entire world.. with government run health care you wont get the latest greatest equipment or the high tech surgery. Why you think so many rich people from other countries come here for tx???? Yeah the system has problems but the gov. solution would be diaster..
