Lisinopril and other medication?

By Editor

Question: I started taking Lisinopril for hypertension today. Do any of you know if it’s ok to continue taking my fish oil tablets and my occasional Excedrin for minor aches during the day??

yes it is,, but Lisinopril can make you cough or have a scratchy throat, so beware of that, it didnt work for my BP, I had to swtich to Lotrel which works great,

exercise can help you out also

I have taken both for about 6 months with no problems. I noticed your question came up in the diabetic section. If your a diabetic and taking meds for that, the answer may be different. If that’s the case ask your Doc to be sure, but I think a good brand Omega 3 – fish oil is a good supplement. Remember the Omega 3 can thin blood just like aspirin so be aware of that too.
