My bf just had it done! They numb your eyes and it doesn’t hurt, you can feel pressure from the instrument that they use to hold your eye open with. It shouldn’t matter that you can’t put contacts in, it won’t affect the surgery because the eye is held open. Actually it would probably be good to have it done so you don’t have to worry about contacts! My boyfriend loves not having to deal with them or glasses, it’s pretty amazing. It takes a few days and your vision might be really good and then start to get cloudy then you just take a nap, your eyes need lots of rest the first cpl of days usually when you rest and get back up you can see fine again, it’s just becuase of the stress they went through and it’s completely normal! I would suggest calling a laser surgery clinic, he used lasik plus, the first visit is free and they check your eyes and go through everything with you and you can go from there! Best of luck to you!

I have glasses for distance and im pretty sure i wont need contacts but in the future i will have the option of laser eye surgery. I saw a show on it once too. They tend to use a freezing chemical that freezes the area around your eye. They use small tongs or special tape to hold your eyelids back so you dont have to worry about blinking and screwing everything up. They also have small watrer dropers so your eye doesnt dry out. When they cut open a small hole in the outer layer of your eye, they simply align the ‘laser’ (its not that scary looking) over your eye (laser is zoomed in a lot) and the doctor uses special technology to see where it is he needs to zap. All he does is make simple ‘zap’ which you dont feel or see. The whole procedure take s like 15 mins for each eyes or something ridiculous like that. afterward they give you protective goggles to wera for a short period of time and whala 20/20 vision

LASIK eye surgery is a medical procedure that can correct your vision by altering the physical properties of your eye. Unlike traditional surgical procedures that depend upon the skills and steadiness of the surgeon’s hand, LASIK eye surgery is computer controlled.

LASIK eye surgery is relatively safe and it can free you from glasses and contacts. Before you commit to LASIK surgery, make sure that you consider all the advantages and disadvantages of having the procedure. Ask the doctor lots of questions so that you can make an informed decision about whether LASIK eye surgery is the right choice for you.

Not in the least. You will have to check up your cornea thickness before surgery.Your lids will not pulled back. There will be a little stretcher to keep your lids apart. There may be some small degree of discomfort but not intolerable pain.

Thank you.
