Is the Planned Parenthood birth control not as good as the ones prescribed by your ob-gyn?
ByQuestion: I want to get birth control from Planned Parenthood, but is the birth control there as good as the birth control that is prescribed by your ob-gyn? Is it the same thing?
Also — is one more effective than the other?

They both prescribe the same birth control.

They both prescribe the same types and brands of birth control. It mostly depends on what they think is right for you or what you ask them to give you.

From what I have come to understand, It’s seriously the same exact thing. It’s at a reduced price for women who cannot afford the over expensive stuff they got out. I’ve been on the depo shot they give you there and it’s worked great. I highly suggest that birth control too cause you only have to take a shot every 3 months!

There are many, many different kinds of birth control. An ob/gyn will prescribe the same kinds and brands as PP, and vice versa. The difference is, it might be cheaper from PP.

They are the same thing. However PP gets alot of packs from the actual company. No one pill is more effective than the next
