Is pathology an osteopathic medicine?
By
Question: Is pathology an osteopathic medicine? If so, would it be wise to go to an osteopathic school, or just through med school? Also, should that Med/Osteopathic school have a pathology department?

pathology is a subject extensively covered in the osteopathic syllabus whether you train in the UK, Australasia or the US.
In the US it is likely to be taught more from a medical perspective than elsewhere.
If you are based in the US I would advise going to the Osteopathic college only if you have an interest in Osteopathy. If not don’t waste your time as you won’t practice any osteopathy afterwards just like 80% of US trained Osteopaths who only went to the osteopathic Schools because the conventional med schools didn’t let them in.

Pathology is taught in osteopathic medical school, if that is what you are asking. MDs/DOs can both specialize in pathology, too, if that is what you are asking. Your wording isn’t very clear.

All med schools MD or DO have pathology departments and either one can specialize in pathology.
