Is it possible for under 16s to recieve chin reduction surgery for free on the NHS?

By Editor

Question: A friend of mine is having otoplasty (her ears are being pinned back) & she is able to get it free on the NHS as she is under 16. I’m wondering if the same applies to chin reduction surgery.

wow, chin reduction surgery will cut into the bone of your actual chin to change its shape. I think you would be crazy to get this done.

Also, NHS exists so people who are poor and ill can still get medical treatment. Shame on you for even considering using the service for expensive plastic surgery. It isn’t free, it is tax payer funded. If people abuse it, it will collapse.

If you want plastic surgery, wait till you get a job and pay for it.
