no you can’t. you need much higher grades than that even in your freshman year. you might be able to go to like UCR now.

Yeah… if you work your butt off the next few years and bring those grades up.

“who is bad grades” based on that I would say NO. Take grammar class and read more it will help your spelling

If you can manage to make a serious effort the next few years, and get into some AP/IB classes, you may still stand a chance. But with your current grades, certainly not. Luckily for you, it’s the junior and senior years that universities REALLY take into consideration. So relax; you’ve still got time.
EDIT: AP stands for Advanced Placement. These are college-level courses offered at some high schools.

probably not right after high school, you’d have to be involved more in services that lean toward the medical field. like r.o.p. classes, or be a valuable member of the science club. if you work your butt off and get into a.p. courses there is a slim chance, but try ucdavis, they’re pretty great as well, and transfer later on. good luck, and stop being lazy. AP=advanced placement.

don’t be too worried… its the last 2 years of highschool you need to make sure you do good in okay? those are the main years colleges look at and are interested in.
you can do anything you put your mind too. you can always bounce back… and even if you dont get accepted right off the bat you can attend a community college first and then transfer to a university after that.

Work your ass off, go to community college for the summer to get extra credits or if you have to summer school, then find a way for the schedule to work

well, the chances are very bleak.
no offense.
but UCLA medicine is a prestigious school.
HOWEVER. if you kick ass and get serious about your grades for the next year or so (Sophmore and Junior years are the most important, TRUST ME) then you could impress the admissions office.
btw, dont take it easy senior year, colleges (such as this one) want to see that you worked hard all 4 years.
good luck!

You can’t get into UCLA with the grades you have now, but you’re only in 9th grade so there is still time to fix this! Work on getting better grades, let your parents know if you think you need a tutor. Focus on prepping for the SAT too.
You can still go to UCLA when you graduate if you focus on your education now. Stay focused on your long term goal because it’s really easy to get distracted. Put notes in your books to remind you, say an affirmation every morning to help you stay focused.
Like “UCLA is just an A away” or something like that.
It’s NOT TOO LATE! You can absolutely do this!

Yes you still have a chance of getting into med school.
You’re gunna have to work REALLY hard though from now and to the end of high school. Take lots of science courses (esp biology, health sciences and chemistry) and you’re gunna have to do well in them.
good luck though! I’m sure if med school is something you REALLY want, then you’ll have no problem getting there

Yes, grades is not all the matters. People tell you that who spent a ton of time working on grades, cause they don’t want to think they totally waisted their lives for nothing.
Join a lot of activites, do martial arts, be a camp counciler some summer, volenteer places, learn some interesting skills like sailing, fencing, horseback riding, do sports, play a musical instrument in the band (this is a big one, for some reason colleges love 3-4 years of music and band), be a captain of a sport, ect.
INTERN!!! Work at a hospital or a doctors office for a summer or 2 or after school. Schools love it when your already on your way to your career, it makes you seem like a solid investment, as in you already know you want to do something and your not going to change your mind.
Be vary diverse and interesting. Get good SAT scores, and try to do well in your classes. Take AP (college level classes offered at high schools around the country, ask your acidemic counsler about them), those look great to colleges, and be good (as in don’t get into any trouble)
Write a great essay when you apply, but don’t bring up your grades at all. If they ask, just tell them you were having some family issues during that time, but these things happen and your back on track.
Don’t worry about your grades, they’re not the soul thing colleges look at, no matter what people say.

I don’t really know much about the school you are talking about. However, I know from experience what it is like to make horrible grades in high school and just when it’s your Senior year, you finally realize “wait, I got to pick up my grades!”
You may have to do a year in a community college, there is nothing to be ashamed of! People do that all the time!
For now, keep your grades up and just do your best.
AP’s are I believe college credited classes you would take in high school.

yes you can. have faith and try your best. you still have time to improve. make sure you get ahead of your peers. take science aps biology physics chemistry (very important) and math one, improve english. make sure you get a really high sat score, practice repeatedly! do community service, help the old and homeless (shows panel that you care), do extra curriculars, be outstanding in some field other than academic and make sure that the school officials know that. good luck and work hard!

You may be able to get into a school in Mexico or Grenada if you get your grades up to at least a B minus. You have no chance at UCLA

You still CAN get into UCLA, but you’ll have to double your GPA.
