How to tape a broken toe for soccer?
By
Question: What should I do to tape my broken big toe for soccer? I have been buddy taping with gauze pads and athletic tape to help it heal for two weeks. I play again in two more weeks, and I want to know how to tape or pad the toe so that the pressure of striking the ball is absorbed. What materials should I use, and how do I go about doing this. My high school team is in a close title race, and I need to play as soon as possible. Is there even a difference between buddy taping a toe and taping it for sports? Help me out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I went to the orthopedic surgeon Tuesday, and he gave me a 2 week estimate(this is after the original 2 weeks), seeing as it was a rather bad break. He said everything is healing and the toe is aligned fine, surgery won’t be necassary.

i whouldent do sports wit a broken toe but if u want put a peace of tissue rap it around your toe then take some tape or band aid around i t so it will be comtorble when you kick the ball around but i whould really be carefull you dont want to end up at the docters offese and never play again

My daughter broke her toe last week, it was taped to the toe next to it and she was told to rest, if you go playing soccer then you will just do more damage. Use your noodle man.
