How much of a risk is there for nerve damage if I were to get a chin implant?
By
Question: I was considering getting a chin implant, but I am worried that there might be nerve damage in my lips, and cause that “droopy lip” apperance…

Wow, of all the vanity mods a person could make I never thought I’d hear this one. Why would you wanna do that? There is never a 100% gaurantee with plastic surgery and there will always and forever be horrible side effects whether it be now or down the road. I would just be happy with who you are, the people that love you are!!

There is the possibility that you may experience a loss of sensation or numbness in the area of your implant for a few months post surgery. The sensitivity will slowly return. You can find more information about the risks here: http://www.newimage.com/cosmetic-plastic-surgery/face/chin-implant-risks.aspx
You should do as much research as you can about this procedure before you get it done, and also so that you can ask your doctor the proper questions.
