How many weeks should a wrist hurt after orthoscopic surgery?

By Editor

Question: They scoped my wrist but found nothing to repair.
I also had my ulna shortened and a plate and screws put in.
That is the only big change.

The difference between me and most patients is I have fibromyalgia.

So how long should my recovery take?

It can take up to 6 weeks or more. Everyone is different so it’s hard to say. You could be in pain for a few weeks to two months or more, especially if you have fibromyalgia. You should call and ask your doctor or surgeon.
