Dean just makes my skin crawl. Most don’t want this so don’t ram it through or that will be the last straw for Dems and they know that. It will all be repealed later.

Wow, suggest giving the people what they want!! What seems to be obvious,however the current administration seems to be ignoring. If we are forced by the powers that be to accept what we do not want a price will be payed by elected officials. I think this could be a fantastic opportunity to bring the country together behind solid common sense reform! We all want it.

Jury type . Means . Jury of your peers ! The people . How does that give more power to govmnt? If we get people in there that all aghree then that does away with democratical debate . The area where ideas are founded . The area whgere we take ideas and debate the pros and cons to work out the kinks .

We don’t need a screening process, this simply puts more control in the governments hands. A simpler solution would be to through ALL them out in 2010 and replace them with congressman and senators that agree they will sign into law a bill on term limits – then we can do away with the career politican like Ted Kennedy, Strom, Byrd and others like them.

I say , fire the whole mob and lets start over . Have a in depth screening process before anyone can even run for office . The screening process should be run on a revolving “jury type ” council . This leaves no room for corruption .
