I had my appendix rupture also last May. I had it removed but after about three days, the infection had came back and they had to re-open me. I had to wear a vac for 3 weeks to clean it all out before the doctor stitched me back up.
Thank God we live in a time where this can be taken care of at a hospital. It changed my life. I don’t take things for granted like I used to.

Whoa! That girl is tough! I would be going nuts if that was me, OWCH! I could bearly watch let alone have that done, i am very greatful for my healthy appendix, but unforchunatly my friend’s ruptured and is having it out in a few days. Btw does anyone know a good “Get Well” gift i could get him? Anyone who could go through that deserves a gift!

My appendix hurts from just watching that!

Why not make something for him by hand?
Someone close to me also had their appendix ruptured long ago and I wondered the same thing.The thing is, anything you get or make will surely brighten his days after such an experience..even if it’s just seeing your face or making him lunch. Or am I being too sensitive on the matter? Either way, I know if I had such a thing happen to me, I would probably be happy with anything. ^_^ Don’t worry too much and good luck. Be well
