Do you think people under the age of 18 should be aloud to buy cold medicine?

Question: Personal opinion is all I want.
I vote yes because when you are 16 you can move out and own a house. Plus, there are a lot of people over the age of 18 who abuse simple medicines. In fact i knew a guy who was a welder4 which u have to be 18 to do who would go to work and buy cold medicine from people at work to make meth out of. So why are minors being punished?

I think they should be. What if their grandmother needs the med for a cough, and she cant go herself? Of course I would definitely get some cough meds and “abuse” them haha.
