Do you like the Sean Hannity health care solution?
By
Question: His solution to a low income earner who loses his/her job and can’t afford health care insurance is to go from doctor to doctor and plead with them to treat you for free or at a reduced fee. Also plead with the pharmaceutical companies to give you free drugs. He talked about this on his show yesterday.
Is this a good solution or what? Become a beggar to get health care if you happen to lose your income just so that the rich don’t “gasp” have to pay more taxes.

Yes, it is a good solution Now listen up and I will telll you why. I have found medical providers are anxious to give deep discounts to people who pay their own bills. They are fed up with the paperwork and bull crap that it takes to get paid by government.
My daughter went to the hospital to have a baby. They offered her three government programs to choose from for a free baby delivery. She said I want to pay for my own baby. When the bill came it was very high. When she took it to the hospital office they started scratching off fees for things she never had and supplies and procedures she never got. The bill ended up half what it started as. She asked why, and was told it is standard practice to add lots of fees when they think a government program is paying the bill.
CAN YOU DEMS READ THIS. PUT YOUR BRAIN IN GEAR. ANYTHING THE GOVERNMENT DOES WILL BE MORE EXPENSIVE AND SHODDY TOO.

I fail to see how thats different then begging the government to tax higher incomes so you can have free health care.

Are you making this up? Where is the transcript?

Yeah, that should do it. NOT. If he said this, Hannity is as stupid as I suspected.

Relying on the generosity of health insurance and pharmaceutical companies sounds like the type of logic I’ve come to expect from Hannity.

There’s a reason Hannity is a pundit and not a policy maker.
November 4th, 2009 at 7:36 pm
Yes, since health care is not an authorized function of the government
November 4th, 2009 at 8:19 pm
Hannity didn’t say that
November 4th, 2009 at 8:38 pm
no but his solution is typical of the GOP’s attitude towards the less fortunate

I could see the man holding his cancer ridden daughter in his hands as door after door closes in his face.
you know what would happen? The PR would be SO bad that the public would scream in outrage. (maybe this would lead to universal health care)

Sean Hannity is a pathetic excuse for a journalist. He is a major reason that Fox is neither fair or balanced

Sean spends too much time with his han on his ity.
He has no concept of what is going on outside of his own head.

Hell No!! Republicans still got it goin’ on!!
Proof is in the pudding! .05 % of the population (truly Rich) have convinced 50% of the Public (the truly Gullible) to continue voting against their own self interest!!!
Now that’s payin’ it forward……….

i can’t stomach hannity. he throws out complete inaccuracies and people actually believe what he says.

Sean Hannity, who never finished college, is not exactly a high-level intellectual. He’s an entertainer and should not be taken too seriously.
November 4th, 2009 at 11:33 pm
Easy for Hannity to say since he makes millions and probably gets his health care covered 100%. Just more of an indication about how far removed from reality the rich elite Republicans are from 99% of normal Americans.

Funny, doesn’t sound like Hannity, so I reject your assertion.
November 5th, 2009 at 12:28 am
As per Hannity. This is stupid.
November 5th, 2009 at 12:36 am
A. according to Hanity, they shouldn’t help the people, because that’s just making them dependent, if they give it to them or heavily discount it…
B. This story posted above is fraud of the government… EXACTLY… nothing more… the hospital should be arrested for stealing our taxpayer money…
why do cons blame the gov. when big business is defrauding them? why do you complain about welfare fraud, when hospitals are probably stealing BILLIONS more than anyone on welfare fraud?
THIS STORY:
“My daughter went to the hospital to have a baby. They offered her three government programs to choose from for a free baby delivery. She said I want to pay for my own baby. When the bill came it was very high. When she took it to the hospital office they started scratching off fees for things she never had and supplies and procedures she never got. The bill ended up half what it started as. She asked why, and was told it is standard practice to add lots of fees when they think a government program is paying the bill.”
that’s fraud… not gov. inefficiency… not anything else… PURE FRAUD…
this is a fantastic argument for socialized care… so big business will quit STEALING, LITERALLY, from us…
