What are you talking about?

2

as crazy as this sounds

the world

is becoming

Ghost In The Shell

3

It proves the bible is real? Thats funny because you seem to have evidence that the entire religious movement has been searching for… Prat

4

a brain transplant ??????

5

technology…is getting worst…its turning into evil….

6

the brain is an organic hard, the body is the machine that allows it to function; but you are the programing that interacts. unlike actual computer software, you cannot simply be transferred another component without essentially dying. you can however transfer the hard drive.

7

mine too :D

8

im from newcastle haha nt al geordies r fick haha

9

Well, that depends on what you consider to be your actual “self”. As it was said in GITS, “Memory can not be defined”. Even if we manage to recreate one’s memories, how can we artificially recreate one’s feelings in a machine body? Since emotions like love, fear, and hatred are very much dependent on biology, I find it unlikely that if we replace one’s biological parts with artificial, he or she would remain the same person. Or that they would remain human at all for that matter.

10

I have a few ideas where it may be possible to restore sight to the blind by implants; prosthesis; and/or simple contact lenses. Replacing camera lenses; achieving invisibility; changing paint on you walls and on your car by a press of a button. list goes on.

11

Have you seen the bicentennial man with robin williams or read the book? We could start by making artificial organs and work our way out and up. Evenually our brains the most important part of our bodies will be artificial but will the actual person be there? In GTIS the person dies but the memories continue to act as if it was just a regular body swap. Another thing how would we transfer the conscious and subconscious separately as if they were completely different computer languages cont.

its not 99.5% the same. and btw, we use pig organs, not monkey organs.

14

actually monkeys are bud, 99.5% same genotype as monkeys

we dont need to clone human organs, we can get most of them from pigs cuz they are 1 of the closest relatives to our gene.

I also believe that cybernetic implants will be widely used in the future. But don’t underestimate biotech. Organic matter does grow old, but machines also deteriorate over time. Living tissue however can regenerate itself which means that some body augmentations would come handily through genetic engineering (and possibly cloning technology). Eventually both cybernetics and bio-technology will fuse to improve our physical bodies. And yes, Ghost in the Shell does give some interesting ideas :) .

17

i believe in cloning human organs to save lives.

18

Yup no one invited him to a party!

19

I’m counting on cybernetic bodies. I really don’t want a “mostly organic” body. The thing is though a cybernetic body will be cheaper than a clone for a mind/body transfer because a organic body deteriorates and needs exterior energy from organic materials. My ideas come from ‘Ghost In The Shell’ a Japanese manga/anime series. Closer and closer man and machine will become blended and I want to stick around to see it completed. For everyone Death is inevitable I just want to be in control.

20

i feel its wrongno harm against any clones that will be created but first off all what kind off life will they have raised in labs without loveand will their lives be limited like Dollys was and will they be good our turn out evil once they know their origansno leave Cloning humans to films tv books and pc fantasy games the world isnt ready for human clones yet

21

I mean a clear example of human rights violations being done is in the movie called The Island which represents the “life waranty thing i was talking about”.

22

Human life is precious and delicate. If some ppl believe they’re going to be living through a clone, that could be wrong information. Questions do exist, would the clone have the same thinking as the original person? Would the clone have a consience or a soul? and if ur religious, would the original human soul go or transfer to the clone?, i doubt it. There’s to many risks, complications and to cloning.

23

Even if there is no god. Human cloning is very risky and revolting to have a clone of yourself in a special place to have it ready for a special dilivery of a liver or a leg maybe even a brain. Wow i mean to me it sounds as if old people are trying to get back young. Can’t we humans be happy with one normal human lifetime. I mean most of u ppl who want cloning are doing it b/c u want a life warranty on urslef. I mean its not even verified that there has been a human succesful clone.

24

im hindu and i think by forcing the fact that god exists (like you are) is wrong. People have their own choices and scientists aren’t planing on making a theme park for people to see dinosaurs. the fact that you turn to a movie just disproves your own point.

25

IMO god doesnt exist, a stupid invention of the Jews just to get money! If you paid attention in History class you would know that christianity and all other Religions are Bullshit. The People used Religion and the Power of Fear to get Money of the People. They used the Power of Fear so that they “donated” to the church to get to Heaven, else they would burn in hell. I dont believe in stuff that dont exist!
