Bart Stupak (D-Mich.), who has organized a group of about 40 Democrats who are committed to killing the health care bill if House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.) does not give them a straight up-or down vote on an ***amendment*** that would PROHIBIT federal dollars from paying for any part of any health insurance plan that covers abortions!

Nothing in this Act shall be construed as preventing the public health insurance option from providing for or prohibiting coverage of services described in paragraph (4) (A)

(4) (B) Abortions for which public funding is allowed…. The services described in this subparagraph are abortions for which the expenditure of Federal funds appropriated for the Department of Health & Human Services is PERMITTED, based on the law as in effect as of the date that is 6 months BEFORE the beginning of the plan year involved.

You really should keep up with the news… and at the moment.. the Pro-life Dems will vote the bill down if they have a special session Saturday.. and that’s one of the many problems… the wording in the bill that permits abortions using Fed Dollars!

The only way abortion will be covered is if the mothers life is in danger and I think that is the way it should be. This will not be paid for by federal funds.

He’s saying what president Obama said about having small businesses join together with the same insurance provider to help offer employers better ratings, and affordabilty to their employees in an effort to save small businesses from closing, or from laying off workers.

And currently the proposal on the table with the Dems is ONLY a 24 hour check on people that are here illegally in our country. It takes 3 MONTHS to get a passport from our government… just think what they’ll be able to find out from illegals in 24 HOURS!
