Any who has a rib tattoo, and has scar tissue sessions after surgery?

Question: Alrighty i have had a very bad surgery on my hand. It had a horrible build up of scar tissue. They took a snake bite kit(sucks the venom out of snake bites) Suctioned onto my scars and started pulling up down and to the sides to rip the scar tissue. I want to get a rib tattoo, and its not a good chance, but has anyone had similar scar tissue treatments and a rib tattoo?I want know if they pain is comparable, or which pain is worse?Thanks

SURGERY of any kind is way worse pain! I am 50% covered in tattoos. I was badly injured in 2 separate car crashes, 1 as a kid and 1 as an adult. I had to have surgery a few times. After all that, a tattoo to the ribs is nothing! It hurts but really, it could be worse. It’s just on the surface and nobody is slicing into your flesh. I like being tattooed, now it’s almost a soothing feeling. Don’t let the pain scare you. If you really want a tattoo it’s 100% worth it. It’s also a GREAT way to celebrate after your surgery! im sure that what you went threw is worse i have one tattoo all the way down my side it took 4 hours to complete. i have a pretty high pain tolerance but it still hurt. i didn’t think that it hurt that bad on the ribs it was just difficult to breath, but the lower it got when there is more fat it hurt like hell. good luck they look awesome and i love mine. even after knowing the pain i would do it all over again!
