I understand your opinion. My mother fled her country and I had the luck to have a good education and an protective environment. I think this lacks with the Aborigines and there’s also the Stolen Generation. It’s great that Australia made a beginning with recognizing their wounds and their history with the yearly ‘Sorry Day’. I don’t know good how to further explain this due to my lack of English. ;(

cont.; It’s a bit double feeling. I don’t know if I would feel that good among my own people in such marginal circumstances due to the muslim conquerors.Yes, we have our responsibilty to create our life but the circumstances must be good also. Recognition, repayment for stolen goods, further aid and no racism by non-natives could help them more. And still they have some great wisdom where we can all learn from.

Ok cool, fair enough lets just let the arguement lie my inbox is getting flooded with replies. I agree it’s cool to debate with someone who DOESN’T tell me to shove seeds up my ass and grow some balls.

My people have been converted by force to the islam, they are now the poorest group in their country while their ground, their resources are stolen and made profit of by the conquerors. That’s hard to get over when day in day out one is confronted with these things. Ofcourse one has a responsibility whether to take drugs or not but I can understand why one does though it’ll never be my choice. So I don’t use the argument ‘the devil made them do it’.

Native cultures weren’t perfect, none nation or people was perfect or will be. Mayans had human sacrifices and what would have happened when Cortez didn’t come to America. I tend to think that despite infight and flaws they didn’t aim for world dominion and complete explotation of the earth. I meant to speak in general of the value of their animist lifephilosophy. In the beginning of the colonisation they were seen as backwards and now people adopt (parts of) their ideas.

‘Ya, the westerners could also live on this planet without having to destroy it for money etc… it’s just that they didn’t want to. They have the knowledge they just don’t want to use it. ‘Indeed, you can say it no better. Though I also think that lots of westerners have grown in a more spiritual way compared to the beginning of this century.

no, I have it in my postbox as ‘reaction’.It’s oke, just thought I should tell you.I appreciate you discuss things in a neat way, many times, on other vids, comments are filled with abusive words.Maybe we have different opinions on some things and in some other things we think the same. Anyway, it’s nice to discuss with you like this.
